The easiest way to get started is to start a dedicated channel with Intern. Simply click "Add to Slack" from our invite page.
OR
Create a custom integration in Slack.
3 simple steps:
- Head to your custom integrations page (https://[YOURTEAM].slack.com/apps/build/custom-integration), and create a new slash command
- Here are the details you'll fill in:
- Choose a Command: /intern
- URL: https://slbot.herokuapp.com/notifications/slack/intern
- Method: POST
- Token: Copy it to the clipboard and send it to us
- Customize Name: InternBot
- Check "Show this command in the autocomplete list"
- Description: Do any micro-task from Slack
- Usage Hint: Describe your task and include your email address
- Descriptive Label: InternBot
- Email us your token. That's it – head over to Slack and use the /intern command to ask for what you need. Remember to include a link for any file, and to include your email address for deliverables.
